GETTING STARTED AT BLUE CANOE

We kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can give you a brief tour of the space and facilities, and help you get comfortably settled in the studio.

Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we’re unfortunately unable to admit late arrivals.

Stay hydrated throughout the day—especially before heated classes, as you’ll sweat a lot.

Eat regularly during the day, but try to avoid heavy meals within a couple of hours before class when possible.

Bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Note: Reformer Pilates classes do not require a mat.

You can also bring your own mat towel, shower towel, or lock.

For heated classes lightweight, breathable materials that will absorb sweat and dry quickly are best. Shorts or leggings, a tee-shirt or a tank top are all great options.

We rent mats and mat towels for $3 each or $5 for the pair.

Note: We require a mat towel to be placed on top of our studio mat rentals. You are free to bring your own mat towel or rent one of ours.

Shower towels are available for rent for $3 at St. Clair West.

Locks are available for key exchange at St. Clair West to use on small lockers.
