Ruby Kagan
Teacher
Ruby Kagan (she/her) is a passionate and energetic movement instructor with a background in yoga, pilates, barre, and gymnastics, as well as a Specialized Honours Psychology BSc student at York University.
She blends fluid vinyasa with dance-inspired, feel-good flows with pilates-inspired core work, primal movement, and calisthenics to create classes that enhance strength, balance, mobility, and mind-body connection. With an emphasis on intelligent sequencing and dynamic transitions, Ruby encourages students to explore their edges, build self-confidence, and move with intention. Drawing from her background in psychology, she integrates moments of mindfulness into every sequence to support both physical and mental well-being. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that growth comes from stepping into discomfort and challenge.
Ruby empowers students to embrace their unique journey, encouraging them to meet themselves with compassion, both on and off the mat, while cultivating curiosity, resilience, and joy.
